Your Research Project

Goal: To promote knowledge about the world and build cultural awareness.

Objective: For the destination to be visited, students will demonstrate knowledge of:
a. Geography: location, terrain, climate, resources, wildlife, vegetation, etc.,
b. Government: type, names of public officials,
c. History: earliest settlement to modern times, or
d. Culture: art, music, food, traditions, customs, etc.

Steps:
1. Select one of the countries we are going to visit
2. Select one of the four catagories above (geography, government, history, OR culture)
3. Email us at jeidsmoe@harbornet.com and tell us which country and catagory you selected
4. Research that country and theme
5. Write a paper outlining your research.

The requirements for your paper are:
A. Length: at least two-pages, typed, double-spaced, Times New Roman or Courier 12 point font
B. Content and ideas: shows insight into the topic, provides details
C. Organized, with clear introduction, body, and conclusion
D. No more than two gramatical or spelling errors
